Bayou Country Children's Museum has future plans to build their beautiful museum in Acadia Plantation. Jaron Land Develoment Company will donate the necessary property for this museum as part of a total build package.

Acadia Plantation hosted the Bayou Country Children's Museum "Trike-A-Thon" fundraiser at its Town Center on Saturday, May 16.

We would like to welcome the newest member of the Acadia family, Jeanette Randon Naquin, Residential Marketing & Sales Director. Jeanette joined us April 1, 2009 and comes to Acadia with a background in residential sales of over 19 years, having had her Louisiana Broker's license since 1993. A native New Orleanian and former longtime resident of Metairie, La, she has resided in Thibodaux for the past 12 years and is married to Gerald Naquin, a local sugarcane farmer.
Jeanette has been very active and president of several clubs and organizations since moving to Lafourche Parish. Her background in Interior Design is an added asset in servicing her clients.

Project A, originally 13 residential lots developed; 9 still available; several commercial tracts available; one has been sold and construction soon to commence.
Project B, A new medical office site is now complete and another commerical/retail site is now under construction.
Project C, Phase I is a mixed residential and commercial area. Our Town Center is currently under construction at the entrance of our development. We have several homes that are now being built. Check out our most recent pictures under "Project C".
Project D, all 5 estate lots have been sold.

Acadia Plantation TND survives Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, with the exception of some street signage and minor tree damage in the Town Center. Acadia Plantation "weathered" both storms in the month of September.
Acadia enjoys excellent ground elevation and we are pleased to say there were no water issues within the development.

| ||A second main entrance to Acadia Plantation off of the newly completed North Acadia Road extension is open. You may enter Acadia's Project C either from Percy Brown Road or Acadia Woods Drive. A second road project has seen the opening of the extension of Acadia's main boulevard, Rue Colette, improving the access to all parts of Project C.|

We would like to welcome a new retail center to our development - North Acadia Plaza - developed by GGL Properties, LLC. We also extend an Acadia Plantation welcome to their first two tenants, WOW Cafe & Wingery and Little Presh, a baby boutique. We wish them all the best and invite everyone to visit these two new establishments.
T. Baker Smith, Inc., professional consultants, has relocated from their long-time downtown Thibodaux location to Acadia Plantation TND. In addition, an affiliate of T. Baker Smith has purchased over 2 1/2 acres adjacent to the office for future commercial development.

All of us at Acadia Plantation want to welcome our seven new homeowners to our traditional neighborhood development. We are anxious to give a hearty welcome to four other homeowners who will soon be moving into their custom homes presently under construction.
Occupying their recently completed medical clinic, we welcome Regional Internal Medicene Associates and Preferred Pediatrics, LLC. In the coming months the clinic's new neighbor will be a retail/commercial facility anchored by World of Wings restaurant with other tenants not yet announced.
Acadia Plantation also looks forward to the soon to commence office building to be owned and occupied by T. Baker Smith Smith, Inc., Engineers.
Lastly, Acadia Plantation's temporary sales office is now located within the development, easily accessible from either Percy Brown Road or Acadia Woods Drive, for the convenience of our existing prospective homeowners. We apologize for the simple look of our temporary office but we want to stress "temporary"; we are working on our permanent plans.

RUN 4 The Health of It. A four Race Series presented by Advance Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. This first annual event and fundraiser will benefit Lafourche Parish Schools. Call Kayla at 985/448-5888 for registration forms.
The second race of this series is set for this Saturday, September 8th starting at Acadia's Town Center - 105 Rue Angelique. Registration starts here at 7:30 a.m. - 5K Race begins at 8:30 a.m. The main route is through Acadia Woods Subdivision and will end back at our Town Center.
The third race of this series is scheduled for November 22, 2012 - 10K Race. More information to follow.
